New Display Helps Parts Stores Increase Sales to Owners of ATVs, Personal Watercraft and Outdoor Equipment

Federal-Mogul has introduced an innovative countertop display assortment designed to help automotive parts stores and other businesses sell Champion spark plugs to the owners of all-terrain vehicles, personal watercraft and lawn and garden equipment during peak seasons.
The Champion “Work and Play” seasonal retail display assortment (#CHASP10) was developed to help automotive parts providers expand into the thriving small-engine plug category. The colorful and attractive display includes 48 of the Champion brand’s most popular small-engine plugs covering a broad range of applications commonly used during the outdoor season. The display is designed to be highly user-friendly and offers a quick reference guide to selecting plugs for lawn and garden equipment and powersport applications. The display signage also includes trilingual headers to accommodate local markets.
“Many consumers who shop at auto parts stores own a garage full of non-automotive engines and know these engines would run more efficiently with a new spark plug. Just like their vehicles, regularly scheduled maintenance and seasonal tune-ups should be performed to keep these small engines running at peak performance,” said Champion brand manager Ann Skrycki-Mohler. “Using our new display at the point of sale reminds and encourages consumers to replace the spark plug on all of the small-engine equipment they use throughout the year.”
The Champion display assortment includes 24 Champion Powersport spark plugs for popular ATV, personal watercraft and dirt bike engines and 24 Champion small engine original equipment-replacement plugs for lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, roto-tillers and similar equipment.
