New Activant Program Announced

Activant Solutions Inc., a provider of business management solutions for the automotive aftermarket, has released a new version of its Activant Vision distribution management system that provides several additional features designed to increase efficiency and accuracy at the parts counter and in the warehouse.
The new version of the Activant Vision software includes several new capabilities designed for customers using the solution in a retail environment.
Activant also has integrated its first-to-market VIN lookup tool into the Vision softwares electronic catalog to enable customers to reduce lookup errors and subsequent product returns. Another key new feature for counter professionals is a custom user setting that permits display of expanded part descriptions on an as-needed basis.
Among new features benefiting warehouse operations is an audit-rated cycle counting capability that helps reduce the need for wall-to-wall physical inventory counts.
This flexible new feature allows the user to create and implement cycle counting models or to count product lines and sub-lines on-demand. Businesses using this tool can start and stop cycle counts, as needed, to help maintain operational efficiency during the audit process.
Our automotive product development team is continuously exploring new features, functionality and other ideas that can drive positive bottom-line results for users of our Vision solution, said Tom Aliotti, vice president and general manager of the Activant automotive business.
Activant Solutions Inc. is a technology provider of vertical business management solutions serving small and medium-sized retail and wholesale distribution businesses.
