The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has announced that te Spring meeting, will be held on April 15 at 2:00 pm in the Mackinac East/West Room at the Marriott Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI.
“The Spring meeting will consist of committee updates and an overview of the new Secure Data Release Model (SDRM), covering everything from how to fill out the forms and receive a Locksmith Identification to how to administer the LSID account, access key codes, and answer any remaining questions from participants,” said Charlie Gorman, NASTF Chairman.
“The SDRM is an important NASTF initiative and I encourage everyone who can make it to attend the Detroit meeting. No meeting registration is required.”
For reference, all information on the SDRM is available on the NASTF website at www.nastf.org. This information also covers the registration process and qualifications necessary for a repairer or other security professional to access this security information.
“NASTF continues to meet the information needs of the automotive service industry, but we need involvement from everyone to build on this success,” added Gorman.
“The dedicated companies and individuals that helped create this solution continue to support the mission and goals of NASTF, and we all owe them a debt of thanks for their efforts. Join us in Detroit.”
NASTF was established in 2000 to identify, communicate and resolve gaps in the availability and accessibility of automotive service information, service training, diagnostic tools, and equipment for the benefit of automotive service professionals and their customers in the United States.
