Multi-Branch Connection Savings

CCI/Triad’s Ultimate customers will be the first to beta test its NETConnect product, but the benefits can be easily seen. NETConnect allows multi-store operations to connect to a central computer via a dedicated Internet connection, eliminating the need for dedicated leased lines. Instead, a router is connected to the Ultimate via Ethernet, providing a main location firewall. Providing the rollout goes well, testing on other CCI/Triad systems will begin. This system will allow CCI/Triad users to make the transition to an Internet connection with branches without changing the user interface or business operations, although some equipment investment is required. Aeroquip, a leading supplier of performance hoses and fittings, has announced the availability of its one-piece aluminum fitting for the motorsports industry. The new product, designed to be the next generation of high performance fittings, eliminates two potential leak points that can occur with fittings assembled using the standard braze process. With brazing eliminated from the production process, the new one-piece fittings have an improved appearance and brighter overall finish. The new product design is available in a variety of popular sizes and configurations and will soon be implemented in more than 80% of the performance fitting offerings from Aeroquip.
