Mosport Inks New Sponsor

The Auto Workers Community Credit Union announced that they are the new title sponsor of Mosport Speedway’s 2006 Saturday Night Stock Racing season.
The four-month schedule opens this Saturday, May 13, at the half-mile paved oval with a full slate of stock car racing including Limited Late Models and Open Wheel Modifieds.

This new relationship with Mosport will help to help raise our profile in Bowmanville and throughout Durham, introducing our services to new and brand-loyal audience.”
Auto Workers Community Credit Union has been around for 67 years and the Bowmanville branch has been part of the community for over 15 years. Today Auto Workers Community Credit Union is a 19,000 member, full-service financial institution.

Mosport Speedway is part of the four-circuit Mosport International Raceway complex, located just north of Bowmanville. The Speedway is Canada’s fastest half-mile paved oval and is the only stock car track in the GTA. Admission prices for Saturday Night Stock Car racing is $13 for adults and $8 for youth (13 to 16). Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult paid admission. The season runs from May 13 to September 9.
