Tenneco Inc. announced that every Monroe Quick-Strut assembly will now be covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
These pre-assembled, bolt-on units enable technicians to reduce the time required for a quality job on many applications by up to 50 per cent and include all of the premium-quality replacement components (including application-tuned strut, coil spring and bearing plate) needed for a complete strut replacement job.
“A growing share of the strut replacement category is moving toward the Monroe Quick-Strut approach because shops recognize they can not only save time, but also help ensure they won’t face a quality-related comeback down the road,” said Bill Dennie, director, ride control channel management, North American aftermarket, Tenneco. “But these advantages can be lost by choosing a lower quality unit from an unproven offshore source.”
