Mitchell International has announced that Mike Jerry has been promoted to vice-president and general manager of Canadian Operations.
In this new role, Jerry will be responsible for overseeing all functions within Mitchell’s Canadian business effort. This new job is intended to increase the company’s focus on the Canadian market.
Jerry has many years of experience in both the insurance and collision repair industries. He joined Mitchell more than 11 years ago, serving most recently as national manager of shop operations. He has also been a member of Mitchell’s Canadian insurance service organization. Prior to joining Mitchell as its first employee based in Canada, Jerry was a supervisor of material damage for Federated Insurance in Mississauga, Ontario. He began his career working in a Stayner, Ontario-based, family-owned collision repair facility.

Jerry received a bachelor’s degree in administrative and commercial studies from the University of Western Ontario and has achieved his Advanced Auto II certification for appraising from the Dallas-based Insurance Technical Training Institute.
