Mister Transmission Names Randall Moore as President, CEO


Mister Transmission (International) Limited has appointed Randall A. Moore as president and chief executive officer.
Moore is a long-time employee of the 45-year-old Canadian company, where he has served as vice-president of operations since 1990.
Founded in 1963 by owner Bruce Brillinger, Mister Transmission has grown to become Canada’s largest chain of transmission specialists with locations across Canada.
“I am honoured to accept this position and look forward to the challenges facing us as we continue to grow our business in an ever-changing market,” states Moore.
“We have every confidence in Mr. Moore’s abilities as he has been a vital part of our growth and development for the past 30 years,” says former president Bruce Brillinger who will maintain an active role as chairman of Mister Transmission.
Moore joined Mister Transmission in 1977 as a store manager and quickly became area supervisor and then director of operations. He was promoted to vice-president of operations in 1990.
In addition to his work experience, Moore has been an active member of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA) since 1993. He served as chairman of the board in 2000-2001 and is currently chairman of the Retailers Council. He was the recipient of the AIA Distinguished Service Award for 2005-2006.
Moore also sits on the board of the Canadian Automotive Institute at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario representing the aftermarket sector and the AIA. He has also served the local community as president of the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce in 1998-1999.
