Lucas Oil Named Title Sponsor of Inaugural JuniorMotoX


Lucas Oil has been named the title sponsor of the inaugural JuniorMotoX, which will take place at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma on May 12-14, 2016. The new event will showcase youth racers as the maximum age is 18 and it will be limited to 250cc and under motorcycles. Going forward, the event will be named the Lucas Oil JuniorMotoX.

Lucas Oil has an in house television production division that has produced the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship TV coverage for several years. So the JuniorMotoX will include a top notch live webcast of the Friday qualifiers and Saturday evening main events in addition to a feature show on MAVTV just a few days following the event.

“Lucas Oil has always tried to partner with quality grass roots racing events and the JuniorMotoX is a really exciting concept,” said Bob Patison, executive vice president of Lucas Oil. “We look forward to showcasing the Lucas Oil product line and producing great Television and online content featuring the top amateur motocross racers.”

“Lucas Oil is an amazing company that has done a lot to help improve and expand the television coverage for the sport of motocross over the past several years,” said Eric Peronnard, the co-creator of the JuniorMotoX. “So having top notch television coverage and a live webcast for the JuniorMotoX will be an amazing way to showcase the top amateur racers. It will also be a real pro-level experience for the riders to do TV interviews.”
