Epicor Software Corporation has released a new version (Release 20) of its Epicor Eagle for the Aftermarket software that includes nearly 300 new and enhanced features designed to help accelerate point of sale (POS) operations, increase sales, reduce inventory and improve overall business efficiency. Among the leading new capabilities featured in Release 20 of the popular Eagle software are: comprehensive management of retail promotions; the ability to create and send intra-system electronic invoices; backorder processing through the AConneX network; streamlined returns validation; in-store gift card processing; posting of credits to a customer’s debit card; and the ability to accept multiple credit cards as payment for a single transaction. Among the dozens of recently added Epicor Compass features are a user-friendly new Launch Pad design, automated end-of-month task settings, the ability to export files in XLSX and CSV formats, and group and individual record query selection.
