Lankar Systems Inc. Announces AAIA I-SHOP Certification

Concord, Ontario-based Lankar Systems announced today it has received I-SHOP (AAIA Open Industry Standards) certification for its ABMS (Automotive Business Management System).
The incorporation of the new standard will be introduced to consumers in the next release of the ABMS, version 5.1 due 3rd quarter 2004.
Lankar Systems is the first shop management system company in Canada to become certified since the I-SHOP standards were established, and the second shop management system ever to have incorporated the standard into a shop management system. Lankar’s incorporation of the I-SHOP standard is much anticipated by integration partners wishing to interface with the popular shop management system.
“The development of an Integration/interfacing standard in the automotive industry as a whole has been long awaited,” said Danny Lankar, President of Lankar Systems. “The sooner this standard spreads through out the industry the sooner this industry will operate on a whole new level of efficiency and detail.
The ABMS from Lankar Systems offers installers, both independents and chains/banner stores to operate their business effectively and efficiently. Their products and services can be viewed at http://www.lankar.com.
