Kirmac Technology Division and CCC Renew Agreement

CCC Information Services Inc. and KiTSystems, the technology division of British Columbia-based Kirmac Automotive Collision Systems, announced that they have reached agreement for CCC to continue providing collision repair management solutions to the industry through the end of 2006.
As a result of their agreement, effective immediately, KiTSystems will also provide its collision repair management software directly to new users in the market.
“This agreement represents a new opportunity for CCC and Kirmac to independently pursue our respective business objectives while continuing to work together to support the industry’s foremost shop management tool,” said Larry Costin, the Vice Chairman of CCC.
A new Version of this shop management tool, Version 1.10, will be available to the industry from both companies by the end of the year and includes many powerful enhancements to the current release of the collision repair management solution presently offered by CCC under the names Pathways Professional Advantage and Pathways Enterprise Solution.
Ian McIntosh, the CEO of Kirmac and KiTSystems, noted, “As the collision repair industry consolidation continues to accelerate, it is imperative that each of CCC and KiTSystems have the ability to offer products and services that will provide progressive shop owners with the management tools necessary to enhance their operations while also growing shareholder value. Our new agreement meets that challenge and represents the beginning of a new era in the delivery of operationally embedded shop management solutions.”
CCC Information Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CCC Information Services Group, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is a supplier of software, communications systems, Internet and wireless-enabled technology solutions to the automotive claims and collision repair industries.
KiTSystems Inc. is a privately held, Vancouver, British Columbia based software manufacturer, providing integrated software solutions to small and medium sized businesses with emphasis on the automotive and insurance claims industries.
