International Technical Competition To Be Held At Paris Show


International Grands Prix for Technical Innovation will be awarded for the 10th time at Equip Auto 03, in Paris, France, this October.
Awarded for the first time in 1985, the International Grands Prix for Technical Innovation has become a major event on the international automotive calendar, generating considerable media impact.
The International Grands Prix for Technical Innovation is organized by Equip Auto in conjunction with the international press, AFPA (French Automobile Press Association) and AJTE (European Technical Journalists’ Association). The international jury awarding this year’s Grands Prix will be made up of 73 experts and journalists from 21 countries, includin Canada, whose task will be to select the most innovative products, design concepts and services from among the new products at Equip Auto.
This year the international jury is chaired by Martial Burat, president, with Benot Perot and David Giardino as vice-chairmen. Daniel Descamps, Technical Director.
Two prizes (gold, silver) will be awarded in each of the following categories:
– Garage Equipment
– Bodywork – Paints
– Post-Equipment
– Vehicle Equipment
Special jury prize: AFPA and AJTE will award special prizes of their own to one or two companies presenting original and innovative products at Equip Auto 03.
