Robert Bosch is planning to expand its car service network in China.
According to media outlet Access Asia, the company has recently awarded franchised certificates to a group of Chinese car repair workshops.
Now 11 car maintenance workshops in Guangdong Province are beginning to provide afte sales services for Chinese car buyers under the Bosch logo.
Bosch is planning to increase the number of its car service centres on the mainland to 1,000 by 2010.
The company is racing for market share ahead of other players such as Autobacs, the biggest car service enterprise of Japan, which is creating a car service joint-venture company in cooperation with a Shanghai firm.
