Hella to Add 50 Engineers

International automotive supplier Hella plans to hire 50 new lighting and electronics engineers for jobs in the U.S. before the end of 2006.
Hella recently landed new orders from General Motors, and was chosen by Ford as a strategic supplier for exterior lighting.
Steve Williams, Hella’s human resources manager said: “We will be hiring both experienced engineers and graduate students to join the current staff of 120 engineers at our North American headquarters in Plymouth.”
The company is said to be pushing an aggressive new growth strategy to double its global sales from $3.8 billion U.S. by 2012.
