Hella Takes SEMA Honours


Hella, Inc., the North American aftermarket subsidiary of automotive lighting and electronics supplier Hella, announced that its Ford F-150 LED taillamps won the Best New Product Under $500 award at the 6th annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Spring Expo in Atlanta, Georgia March 23-34, 2007 that featured over 200 manufacturers.
The award winning F-150 LED Taillamp kit includes 2 taillamps, a cab-mounted brake light and complete installation instructions.
The LED taillamps and brake light feature 24 LEDs that perform the stop/turn functions and CELIS light guides that perform the taillamp and parking lamp function.
The taillamps take minutes to install and are DOT & SAE compliant.
The LED taillamps provide an increased margin of safety with a fast, illuminating and high visibility LED brake light function.
The F-150 LED Taillamps are part of Hellas F-150 Lighting Upgrade Kit for 2004-2007 models. In addition to the two LED taillamps, the F-150 Upgrade Kit includes two blackout headlamps and an auxiliary grille with two Rallye 4000 Compact series lamps.
The headlamps consist of matte black housing and carbon fiber inlay for a stylish blackout look. The reinforced and upgraded composite grille offers a full range of vertical adjustment, composite light buckets and a paintable surface.
Xenon and Halogen versions with new Free-Form lighting technology are available, and the wire harness is included.
