Hastings Announces New Appointments

Barrie, Ontario-based hard parts and additive supplier Hastings Inc. has announced several new appointments. Bob Weatherston, President of Hastings Inc., has appointed Bill Holmes as Merchandising Manager. Holmes, with over 20 years experience in the automotive aftermarket, replaces Brian Fox, who is retiring after 41 years with the company. Steve Wright has been appointed Export Sales Manager. Wright is a 16-year veteran with Hastings, the past 2 years as U.S. Sales Manager. Wright will carry responsibility for Hastings’ global sales of specialty tool products. John Carson joins the firm as Controller. Carson, an industry veteran with 12 years experience in the heavy-duty market, takes over from Russ Button, who is retiring after 17 years.
