For the 14th year, riders will suit up and embark on the Brantford Rotary Clubs annual snowmobile trip (The Great Northern Ride – Powered by Gates) to raise money for the Lansdowne Children’s Centre Foundation. This ride will be held February 23 – 28th, 2014 and will start from Sudbury and head to; Timmins, Hearst, Wawa, Elliot Lake, and end back in Sudbury.
Lansdowne Children’s Centre is a children’s treatment centre for children with physical, communication and/or developmental needs located in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Lansdowne is a member of the Ontario Association of Children’s Rehabilitation Services (OACRS) and is one of 21 member treatment centres in Ontario. Gates is also donating G-Force recreational belts for the wide range of snowmobiles that are expected to be on trip.
