Goodyear Canada Boosts Automotive and Heavy-Duty Belt Tensioner Lines

Goodyear Canada’s Engineered Products Division has announced a major expansion of its line of belt tensioners.
The Goodyear Accu-Drive automotive and heavy-duty belt tensioner product lines are for passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, vans and heavy-duty vehicles.
"In our ongoing efforts to better serve both consumer and commercial vehicle industries including transportation, mining, agriculture, delivery, distribution and the school bus industry in Canada, we’ve added 140 new tensioner product parts," says Guy Enta, national sales manager, replacement products for Goodyear Canada’s Engineered Products Division.
According to Enta, a new detailed 169-page Belt Tension Control Product Catalogue is now available, complete with tensioner overview, diagrams, photos, technical specifications and part numbers to cover the entire range of vehicles and heavy-duty fleet applications.
"Hundreds of millions of vehicles have been designed and equipped with automatic belt tensioners by global automakers. Quality, combined with the fact that every Goodyear tensioner has been carefully engineered and designed with an emphasis on Original Equipment in terms of form, fit and function, all provide us with critical advantages required to progress in this market," Enta said.
"We’re excited about this expansion. All tensioner products are strengthened with Goodyear’s rich heritage, the company’s extensive research and development efforts and our team of technical and customer service experts," said Enta.
"As part of the kick-off program in Canada this month we are providing our representatives in each region with new detailed tensioner product demonstration kits in order to clearly illustrate the Goodyear Accu-Drive ‘difference’ to our customers," Enta said.
