Aftermarket veteran Steve Marks now selling Goodyear Engineered Products
Former senior vp of sales and marketing at the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Steve Marks, has landed at Veyance Technologies, makers of Goodyear Engineered Products, as its regional sales manager for automotive aftermarket products in the southeastern United States.
Marks comes to Veyance with over 30 years of aftermarket experience ranging from the warehouse distribution floor to senior sales and marketing positions. An involved Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) member for the last decade, Marks played a key role in molding the “Be Car Care Aware” task force for its launch in 2004.
“Steve’s the total package of leadership and salesmanship we look for on the Veyance team,” said Nick Gulli, director of North American aftermarket sales for the belt and hose manufacturer. “His values and management style fit our philosophy and his background underlines the Goodyear Engineered Products mantra: ‘The Customer First, Always’.”
Most recently the senior vp of sales and marketing at the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Marks coordinated marketing programs and analyses that helped raise company revenues 40% since the company’s foundation in 2000.
“Steve understands our customers’ point of view because he’s been there,” said Gulli. “His accomplishments at Alliance show his knowledge of the industry and proclivity for success. He’ll be a great fit on our team and an asset for the Goodyear Engineered Products brand.”
