Goodson Tools & Supplies for Engine Builders has added a Pushrod Cleaning Brush to its already extensive line of brushes for engine building.
The Pushrod Cleaning Brush has tapered bristles to make cleaning pushrods with an ID down to .080” easy. The brush also measures 12” long to fit most pushrods.
According to Goodson tech services manager, Jim Tapp, “It’s important to clean the insides of your pushrods when you’re rebuilding an engine. Not cleaning the ID of the pushrods is like putting your dirty clothes back on after a bath; you risk contaminating all of the work you’ve done. You need the pushrod brush because the ID is so small it’s unlikely that your hot tank will be able to get the gunk out.”
The Pushrod Cleaning Brush is available from Goodson as Order No. PRB-80.
