Free Wireless Internet Access for AAPEX Attendees and Exhibitors

Attendees and exhibitors at the 2005 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) will be given wireless Internet access at no cost, compliments of AAPEX and the sponsoring associations.
"When traveling with laptops, you either have the hassle of setting up Internet access through an Internet drop or the expense of using wireless. We’re eliminating both the hassle and expense for attendees and exhibitors as our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our valued customers," said Bill Glasgow Sr., AAPEX show manager for the event being held Tuesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 4, at the Sands Expo Center, in Las Vegas, Nev.
AAPEX will absorb significant costs for exhibitors and attendees this year. Typically, the Sands Expo Center sells wireless Internet access on an individual basis at a cost of $9.95 for 30 minutes, $39.95 for two hours and $399.95 for 48 hours.
The wireless Internet access is best used with laptop computers and is not recommended for desktop units. Attendees and exhibitors with laptops that are not set up for wireless access will be able to purchase a wireless networking card from the Sands Expo Center.
AAPEX 2005 will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 4, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Due to the record-setting number of exhibitors, AAPEX has been expanded to include exhibits in the Venetian Ballroom.
AAPEX is the annual business-to-business trade show representing the $250 billion North American retail and service aftermarket, and features nearly 2,000 exhibitors. AAPEX is jointly sponsored by the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). For more information, visit www.AAPEXShow.com.
