Fifield Returns to Canada with Wakefield

Wakefield Canada, Castrol’s Canadian distributor, has appointed Dave Fifield as chief operating officer.
Fifield brings a broad leadership background to Wakefield having held many senior executive positions with BP/Castrol in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K.
Most recently, Fifield served as British Petroleum’s VP Marketing – Strategic Accounts based in Sunbury on Thames, U.K. Previously, as VP marketing, Americas for BP’s Castrol Americas Business Unit in New Jersey, Fifield led the development of an integrated marketing discipline throughout North and South America.
Fifield’s appointment as COO marks his return to his roots; in the 1980s he initiated his career with the company as director of marketing and Technology Manager for Castrol Canada.
In his new position, Fifield will be responsible for the leading Wakefield’s operating business. His role includes the customer facing functions of sales, marketing, distribution as well as company’s supply chain and performance management.
