Federal-Mogul Ramps Up Import Moog Steering and Suspension Coverage

Federal-Mogul’s industry leading Moog steering and suspension product line has been expanded to include 34 new premium-quality “Asia-Spec,” “Euro-Spec” and domestic components covering nearly 4 million additional passenger vehicles.
Highlights among the latest coverage expansion are Moog Problem Solver “Euro-Spec” replacement front tie rod ends for 2000-2006 Audi TT (EV800637) and 1998-2004 Volvo C70 and 1998-2000 V70 models (EV800623). Other innovative new Moog Problem Solver parts include an “Asia-Spec” front lower ball joint for 1998-2006 Toyota Land Cruiser and 1998-2007 Lexus LX470 models (K500133) and a rear lower ball joint for more than 1.3 million Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner vehicles, model years 2001-2008.
Moog Problem Solver parts improve on original designs for enhanced performance, easier installation and increased durability. The new Problem Solver tie rod ends feature all-metal bearings for increased strength and longer service life. The new ball joints include the brand’s trademark “gusher” bearing, which allows grease to penetrate all load-bearing surfaces for longer life, and include full-ball studs that provide 360 degrees of smooth, even rotational movement for more responsive steering. Each ball joint also is equipped with a grease fitting and premium Moog boot for serviceability and superior durability.
Other new Moog products now available through leading replacement parts distributors are 10 sway bar link kits for a variety of late-model Ford, Dodge, BMW and Hyundai vehicles; front control arms for Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and Suzuki Esteem models ranging from 1995 through 2008; and replacement coil springs for several popular Dodge, Kia, Nissan and Toyota applications up to and including the 2010 model year.
