Federal-Mogul Again Recognized for Excellence in Electronic Catalogues

Federal-Mogul Corporation’s electronic cataloguing has been honoured for the second consecutive year by the National Catalogue Managers Assocation.
The company received two President’s Awards for Electronic Cataloguing Excellence during the annual NCMA Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Federal-Mogul was recognized by CCITriad the leading electronic catalogue supplier to the North American replacement parts industry as the only aftermarket manufacturer providing monthly application files in the preferred DataBase Partner format. Federal-Mogul provides CCITriad with monthly applications updates for its complete Wagner brake products, Moog chassis parts, TRW chassis, and Carter fuel pumps product lines.
Wrenchhead, Inc., the industry’s second-largest electronic catalogue provider, recognized Federal-Mogul for its ability to provide accurate and timely Fel-Pro gaskets application files in the widely accepted AAIA format. This capability greatly accelerates the exchange of timely information between the company and Fel-Pro customers.
Electronic cataloguing is a vital tool used by automotive parts distributors, jobbers and retailers in providing the latest product application data to vehicle service shops and consumers. Federal-Mogul today provides electronic updates in less than one-third the time required to print and distribute paper-based catalogues.
"This is an issue our customers care about," said Jay Burkhart, vice president marketing for Federal-Mogul. "By winning these awards for the second straight year, Federal-Mogul has shown its commitment to delivery of this very important service. Our ability to increase the speed at which product data gets to the customer translates into sales growth for all of us."
