#aftermarket – For the 14th consecutive year, Elgin Industries has been recognized as one of the premier suppliers to Jasper Engines & Transmissions, North America’s largest remanufacturer of gasoline and diesel powertrain and drivetrain components. Elgin manufactures a wide range of valvetrain components for Jasper, including push rods, rocker arms, lifters and valve springs, with a majority of these parts designed and manufactured in Elgin, Ill.
Elgin president Bill Skok and national marketing and sales director Rick Simko accepted Jasper’s “ELMO” trophy as one of the company’s “Partners in Success” during a recent ceremony in Jasper, Ind. Elgin was recognized for excellence in the “Service” category based on several criteria, including supplier scorecard results, “can do” attitude, sense of urgency, timely responses, problem resolution, and technical expertise.
