E-Learning Web Site Launched For Garage Management Training

An interactive, garage management website has been launched by Canadian industry consultant and columnist Bob Greenwood.
Based on his long-standing Independent Garage Business Management Development Course, the web initiative is the first for a new company, called Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre Ltd. (AAEC), which will maintain and develop this training approach for the independent sector of the automotive aftermarket maintenance and service industry.
The site goes live October 16, 2001, but a sample preview is available now at www.aaec.ca.
The Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre is the first in Canada to offer an industry sector specific, interactive, Garage Business Management course through the Internet.
This site was developed for the Independent Garage owner/ Manager & Service writer, the Jobber owner, and the Jobber Sales Reps to learn about the Service Provider’s business.
This site also promises to be an excellent support mechanism for anyone who has taken Greenwood’s "live" courses. It will allow everyone to review all sections, at their speed, and stay up-to-date with shop formulas, ratios, guidelines, business strategies, and issues. The site has in excess of 40 hours of learning material.
Any student who signs up between October 16th and December 31st 2001 will have one full year’s access to this site $365 plus tax. After January 1, enrolment rises to $500 for the year.
