#aftemarket – Dayco, has announced it will expand its customer service capabilities, implement new supply chain systems and consolidate its United States distribution locations into one, larger distribution center in the Memphis, Tenn., area.

“Due to the continued growth in demand for our products and increased product complexity over the past several years, we have committed to this significant capital investment in order to deliver increased value to our customers,” said Ed Rammel, president of the North American and Australian Aftermarket for Dayco. “Our new distribution center will provide adequate space to support customer requirements and future growth.”

Memphis is a major transportation hub and the new Dayco distribution center will be in close proximity to key shipping companies. “Our success in the automotive aftermarket is enabled by a full range of great technology and products, intelligence on applications, great people and especially being able to provide the right products to our customers at the right time, always,” said John Bohenick, chief executive officer for Dayco. “This significant investment will increase our ability to make our customers even more successful.”
