Dana Turns 100


Dana Corp. marked its 100th birthday yesterday.
The company was founded in 1904 by Clarence Spicer, inventor of the encased universal joint, and expanded in 1914 when financier Charles Dana became involved with the company. The company’s sales last year totaled $7.9 billion U.S.
