China Places Conditions on Trade with Mexico

In what can only be called a case of the pot alleging that the kettle might be black, China has put pressure on Mexico to curb anti-dumping.
China reported that Mexico must pay closer attention to antidumping cases if it. wants to increase its trade relations with China, the world’s fastest growing economy.
The Chinese trade minister, Bo Xilai, said that China wants to expand its trade relations with Mexico, but the issue of anti-dumping must be addressed first.
In an official statement, Mr. Xilai told his Mexican counterpart, Fernando Canales, that the Mexican government should pay more attention to anti-dumping cases involving Chinese businessmen who reside in Mexico.
Both officials agreed to appoint a high-level team to work on expanding trade between both countries.
