Chilton Releases New 2008 Import Manuals

Cengage Learning, a leading provider of print and digital information services for the academic, professional, and library markets, today announced the addition of five new imported vehicle service manuals to the Chilton 2008 Service Manual Series. The added titles make it easier for users to diagnose, fix vehicles and, for the first time, provides both mechanical and diagnostic information together in the same manual.

These new, reliable and comprehensive manuals allow users to accurately and efficiently diagnose and repair vehicles by providing step-by-step procedures and helpful illustrations. These new service manuals cover 2006 and 2007 models, as well as 2008 models, where available.

“As a result of changing needs in the automotive industry, Chilton now includes both mechanical and diagnostic information in one resource for users,” said David Koontz, Publisher of Chilton. “In the past, we produced separate manuals because only new vehicles required diagnostic repair information. Organized by vehicle manufacturer, the new multi-volume set (1-4283-3716-4, $399.90) consists of the European manual (1-4283-2220-5, $99.95), and four volumes of Asian imported vehicle manuals sold individually (1-4283-2215-9, 1-4283-2216-7, 1-4283-2217-5, 1-4283-2218-3, $79.95), or as a set (1-4283-2214-0, $299.95). The 2008 Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors Repair Manuals are also available.
