Centennial College Invites Alumni Back for ‘Show and Shine’

Centennial College’s School of Transportation is hosting its first “Show and Shine” cruiser day on Sunday, June 12 at Ashtonbee Campus in Scarborough.
Former students and college employees dating back to 1967 are invited to bring their vintage classic or newer tuner cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Half of Ontario’s automotive technicians have taken at least one course at Centennial, so there are a lot of special-interest vehicles potentially eligible.
The day will feature a barbecue, gift bags and trophies. Show prizes have been donated by Legendary Motorcar Company, Snap-on Tools, CarQuest Auto Parts, BOC, Lincoln Electric, Ian Law Racing, Race Buffs and Chase Audio-Video.
Show participants are asked to pay a $10 registration fee.
The show is open to the public on June 12 from 11 am to 4 pm at no cost.
For details, call John Mifsud at 416-289-5000, ext. 7221 or e-mail showshine@ centennialcollege.ca. To register a vehicle, call 416-289-5300 and quote code CESI-600-821.
