CAPS Ottawa Car Show Surpasses 300 Vehicles

CAPS Auto Parts & Tires annual Car Show was held in Ottawa on June 21, The popular community event is free to car owners and spectators and has been operating since 2008. The show brought together thousands of car enthusiasts for a memorable summer evening.

“We are pleased how this event continues to grow, it?s now triple in size since we first started,” said CAPS sales & marketing manager Dawn Stoeckl-Petric. “Community is   -of-mind at CAPS, as the show has supported numerous local charities over the years including The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), The Heart & Stroke Foundation, local sports teams and food banks.”

Highlights includea over 300 cars on display, a traditional corn roast, an old-fashioned ice cream truck, face painting for younger participants, DJ music, photo opportunities and a scavenger hunt with prizes. Helpful parts suppliers were also on hand to represent the automotive aftermarket including April Superflo, Castrol, Dorman, Macpek, Mevotech, Permatex, Promax and Promechanix.

CAPS have been proudly serving the Ottawa region for over 20 years and have 3 locations with a combined 75,000 sq. ft. distribution centre of auto parts and tires.
