Canadian Refinish Veteran Named to New Role at PPG

PPG Industries has announced that Garry A. Goudy, a veteran of the Canadian refinish marketplace, vice president, automotive replacement glass, has been elected vice president, automotive refinish.
A native of Meaford, Ontario, Goudy joined subsidiary PPG Canada Inc. in 1970 as a sales and marketing trainee in Toronto and held sales and management assignments of increasing responsibility in Canada.
He moved to PPG’s headquarters in 1988 and progressed through a series of general management positions in flat glass before being named general manager of auto replacement glass in 1994. He was named vice president, automotive replacement glass, in 1997.
Goudy, 54, is a business administration graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute.
