Brake Parts Canada, Inc. has announced that its manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ont., has achieved certification to the ISO14001 standard requirements for creating an environmental management system.
The ISO (The International Organization for Standardization) defines requirements for employees, community, suppliers and customers to ensure standards are maintained at the highest level throughout the entire manufacturing processes.
Brake Parts Canada Inc. in Mississauga is one of the largest producers of brake shoe stampings, disc and drum brake backing plates. The company is dedicated to maintaining and improving an environmental policy including rigorous safety guidelines and practices. The highly recognized certification by a third party confirms that Brake Parts Canada, Inc. meets the requirements of the standard, particularly in respect to environmental impacts.
Mississauga facility employees were actively engaged in the planning and implementation process.
