Brake Manufacturers Council Announces New Officers

Richard Johnston, sales account manager for Delphi Automotive, Kettering, Ohio, was elected 2006-2007 chairman of the Brake Manufacturers Council (BMC) at the group’s recent annual meeting.
Ray Arbesman, chairman of NUCAP Industries Inc., Toronto, Ontario, was elected vice chairman.
Mohammad Vakili, manager, Friction Material Selection at Continental Teves, Auburn Hills, Mich., was elected secretary/treasurer.
The Brake Manufacturers Council is dedicated to providing members with current information relating to the brake industry and informing its members of legislation and regulations affecting automotive brake parts and systems.
