Bosal North America, Inc., has appointed aftermarket veteran, John Tiger, as director of sales for its Automotive Carriers and Protection Systems (ACPS) Division.
The company produces an innovative line of trailer hitches and windstops for both OEM and aftermarket applications. The division was originally established as part of a joint venture between Bosal International N.V. and ORIS GmbH of Germany.
Tiger is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s new tow hitch program from start up through application development, marketing, and sales. He will also manage sales of the Bosal Windstop product line, which is supplied to both OE and aftermarket customers.
He Tiger has more than 23 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management for several automotive, RV, trailer and marine companies.
Before joining Bosal, John was regional sales manager for Valley Towing Products, Rochester Hills, Mich., where he managed all automotive, RV and installer sales for Northeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales for Cobra Sales LLC, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and managed operations and a nine-member sales team organization representing Valley Towing Products from 2008 to 2010.
An accomplished technical writer and journalist, he has been technical editor and field contributor for Affinity Group, Ventura, Calif.,, since 1993. Tiger is a regular contributor to popular publications such as Trailer Boats, Bass & Walleye Boats, Camping Life, and has produced over 500 monthly stories, articles, and technical advice columns.
