AutoServiceWorld.com Surpasses 100,000 Page Views in 2010

AutoServiceWorld.com, Canada’s leading website serving all segments of the automotive aftermarket, has surpassed the 100,000 page-view milestone for 2010.
“When we revamped AutoServiceWorld.com earlier this year, we had a clear goal to build its accessibility and attractiveness to the readers in the Canadian aftermarket and beyond. It is very encouraging to see that we have attracted so many views from the industry in a much shorter timeframe than I had thought,” says AutoServiceWorld.com manager Andrew Ross, also publisher and editor of Jobber News Magazine.
“For advertisers, what the 100,000 page view milestone means is that their advertisement could have been seen that many times by key buyers in the industry. Frankly, this provides unprecedented value as a way to augment an effective print campaign,” he says.
Ross says that the numbers also indicate that the twice-weekly e-newsletter, which goes out to more than 17,000 readers from all segments of the automotive aftermarket industry–from the parts manufacturer to the service garage owner and everyone in between–Mondays and Thursdays, is also a much used resource.
“Though most will recognize the Jobber News team that has the highest profile association with AutoServiceWorld.com, it is important to note that there are quite a few people behind the scenes continuing to work hard to make AutoServiceWorld.com the best source of news and information for the industry. Without that support, none of this would be possible,” he adds.
And, even though it has been a going concern for a decade, with the redesign has come new capabilities to add content. The most recent addition is the CARS OnDemand video clips, but more are to come, he promises.
“We’ll be rolling these out over the next little while, though I want to keep them a surprise,” he adds. “I urge aftermarket industry professionals to keep coming back to see what’s happening in the industry, and what’s happening at AutoServiceWorld.com.”
