Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) has issued a request for presentation submissions from industry speakers and subject matter experts who wish to participate in the Conference Program at next year’s event. Comprised of the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS), ASRW is scheduled for Oct. 17-19 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Submissions must be made using the online form, and content must fit into the Management, Technical or Women’s Professional Development tracks and in the available time formats of either 90 minutes or three hours. Sessions will be scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Saturday, Oct. 19, and presenters should be available to speak on any day of the conference.
The deadline for submitting presentations is Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. The ASRW Conference Planning Committee will review all proposals based on originality of proposal, past speaker performance (or references), timeliness of topic, practical application of concepts or information, and/or relevance to the collision repair and automotive service industries.
“ASRW has a long-standing history of meeting the educational needs of the industry, and we look forward to receiving a plethora of relevant, timely presentation ideas for next year’s NACE and CARS programs,” said Ellen Pipkin, ASRW show manager.
All presentations selected for the Management and Women’s Professional Development tracks will be submitted to the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) for potential AMI accreditation.
