Appointments Announced at Osram Sylvania

Abbas Khan, president of Osram Sylvania Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of JoAnn McKeown to the position of vice president, sales & marketing retail, effective immediately.
In this position, McKeown will report directly to Khan and will be based at the companys head office location in Mississauga, Ontario.
McKeown assumes responsibility for all sales and marketing activities for the consumer products and automotive lighting sales channels. Reporting to McKeown will be the director of sales, retail marketing manager and product management team.
Previous to this appointment, McKeown held the position of national sales manager, automotive since November 2001.
Before that, she was the product manager for photo-optic and automotive lamps when she joined Osram Sylvania in March 2000.
McKeown in the graduate of the Siemens Academy of Business Excellence in 2006 and was awarded sales manager of the year honours in 2003 and 2006.
McKeown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Chemistry from Queen’s University as well as an MBA from McMaster University.
Further, the company is also announcing the appointment of Colleen Kelly to the position of director of sales – retail, effective immediately.
Kelly assumes responsibility for all sales and business development activities for the consumer products and automotive lighting sales channels.
Previous to this appointment, Kelly was retail marketing manager overseeing channel marketing strategies and activities for both consumer and automotive channels.
She began her career with the company in 1995 as a customer service representative.
Kelly is a graduate of the Osram Sylvania Business Management Institute from Cornell University.
She is a winner of the account manager of the year award in 2003 and sales representative of the year in 1998 and 2002.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University in Montreal.
