Michel Maheux, executive vice-president, Automotive Group Canada, Uni-Select Inc., has announced that Dov Lidor has been appointed vice-president, business development, Uni-Select Eastern. Lidor, who has many years of experience in the aftermarket, was most recently executive vice-president of Bestbuy Distributors. Reporting to Maheux, Lidor’s primary responsibility will be to assist Allan Dero, general manager–Ontario, in pursuing business development plans.

Craig Diamond, president of JET Equipment & Tools Ltd., is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlo Del Fante to the position of national sales manager. As national sales manager he will be responsible for all facets of sales and sales management for JET as well as direct responsibility for the company’s sales force. Del Fante brings with him much experience within the Canadian automotive and industrial distribution markets, having spent many years with both JET and Akzo.
