Aisin to Get Serious About U.S. Aftermarket

Aisin World Corp. of America (AWA), a worldwide supplier of original and aftermarket automotive components, today announced that it has significantly strengthened its aftermarket sales effort in the United States.
Aisin is a manufacturer and distributor of water pumps, hydraulics, clutch, and ADVICS brake pads for Asian import vehicles.
Bob Clark, AWA director, aftermarket sales, said the company plans to grow its aftermarket business exponentially by contracting with several regional sales agencies across the United States.
We are aggressively seeking new opportunities in new markets, said Clark.
Our affiliations with these agencies will help us reach our ambitious sales objectives, while assisting warehouse distributors, who are increasingly turning to Aisin and ADVICS aftermarket products for quality and dependability.
Based in Plymouth, Mich., with its aftermarket sales division in Torrance, Calif., AWA is a subsidiary of the Aisin Group, headed by Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. with corporate offices in Kariya City, Aichi, Japan.
