Air Conditioning Event Pledges to Battle Counterfeit Parts

Despite the fact that only one case of counterfeit products was discovered at the last Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide, the organization is once again taking steps to guard against further incidents.
In order to protect the integrity of association members and trade show exhibitors and the mobile A/C and engine cooling industry as a whole against counterfeiting and trademark infringement, MACS has stated that it intends to aggressively pursue the protection of intellectual property during its annual Trade Show.
The EXPRESS TRAIN! MACS Convention and Trade Show, will take place January 25-28, 2006 at the Caribe Royale Hotel and Convention Center, Orlando, Fla.
Every exhibitor has been asked to sign the MACS Trade Show counterfeit product policy statement prior to their participation at the show. MACS’ legal counsel will be available specifically to handle any complaints concerning counterfeit product or trademark infringement during the show.
