AIA Young Executive Society Workshop Sold Out

The Automotive Industries Association of Canada reports that its Young Executive Society Workshop in Barrie, Ont., has been sold out.
Scheduled for November 16 at the Holiday Inn in Barrie, Ont., the event has proven to be a popular one in past years.
Each year in November, AIA Canada’s YES Committee hosts a management workshop featuring hands-on practical learning on topics such as financial/budgeting, strategic planning, marketing and human resources. These workshops provide young executives with the tools they will need to ensure their career paths remain on course.
“With such an involved committee organizing the event and a renowned industry expert such as Peter Wright leading the workshop, this event was already bound to be a success – and now with the event sold out over a month and a half in advance, it goes without saying that young executives are heavily involved with the Association and the benefit of attending events such as this are truly known within our industry,” says president of AIA Canada Marc Brazeau.
The 2011 YES Workshop will provide attendees with the tools needed to build a business plan and will include how to build a budget and support it. Wright’s “Business Planning Boot Camp” promises to offer the strategic tools needed to develop a plan that is not only adaptive to change, but one that can also remain steadfast to core corporate values and visions. Participants are guaranteed to go back to work with a wealth of knowledge that they can start using immediately in their everyday business life.
“This is an example of the commitment by the YES Committee to providing a platform for young executives and managers in the industry to develop and grow,” says Trevor Longley the current chairman for the YES group.
