Aftermarket Veteran to be Subjected to Roasting


Gerry Plener, who has been a part of the aftermarket for many decades, is scheduled to be honoured by the Canadian automotive aftermarket as he eases into retirement.
The event, being hosted and organized by the Automotive Service Marketers Association, is scheduled for October 23 at the Toronto Board of Trade, located on Dixon Road in Toronto, Ont..
Plener, who recently retired from Dana Brake and Chassis, is expected to share at least a few stories with the dinner guests, and other speakers are expected to share more than a few.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 7:00 p.m. Dinner tickets are available for 110 per person with proceeds going to a charity of Gerry Plener’s choosing. For more information, contact Gayle Rae at 905-673-0000 extension 226. Deadline to order tickets is October 10.
