Judges will be focusing on new products that enhance the driving experience at this November’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) New Product Showcase in Las Vegas. This innovative focus on products that enhance the driving experience and a first ever judging of products are new features to this year’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) New Product Showcase. These changes are expected to draw record participation in the showcase, which in 2004 had more than 500 products on display. The new focus will draw products relating to vehicle safety, security, fuel efficiency and performance, as well as those that are environmentally friendly, and create individuality, comfort and convenience for today’s drivers. Members of the consumer and trade press will judge products, and winners will be announced at the start of the show. Products will be displayed in nine new catchy and unique categories that reflect the overall AAPEX theme, “We Keep Them on the Road.” The categories are: Safe & Sound, Good Sense, Smooth Sailing, Earth-Friendly, Individuality, Cool Cars, Making it Better, Work Smart and Fixing it Right. Within the categories there will be products that: increase safety and security, improve fuel economy, improve driving performance, protect the environment, enhance the vehicle’s appearance and uniqueness, improve shop efficiency and improve the diagnosis or repair process. To participate, exhibitors should complete an entry form located within the “Exhibitors” section of the AAPEX Web site at www.aapexshow.com. There is no limit to the number of entries a company can submit; however, space in the showcase is limited.
