AAM Expands Aftermarket Offerings


American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM) today announced the expansion of its aftermarket product portfolio at the 2006 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 31 – November 2, 2006.
The new aftermarket product offerings featured in the AAM Axle Components catalog include the latest applications for:
* 2004 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon
* 2005 Dodge Ram Power Wagon
* 2005 HUMMER H3
* 2007 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL
* 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban
In addition, the catalog also features a wide variety of gear sets, differential cases, axle shafts, differential and bearing kits, and other axle components which are available through a network of North American distributors.
“This year we have added many, new cutaway views of axle assemblies with corresponding part lists and application data to assist customers in determining which components are best suited to their needs,” says AAM Aftermarket Business Unit Manager, Bill Sheehan.
AAM is involved in the manufacture, engineering, design and validation of driveline systems and related components and modules, chassis systems and forged products for light trucks, sport utility vehicles and passenger cars.
In addition to its locations in the United States (in Michigan, New York and Ohio), AAM also has offices or facilities in Brazil, China, England, Germany, India, Japan, Poland, Mexico, Scotland and South Korea.
