Jaguar Land Rover to go electric


Add another automaker to the growing list of  brands to announce plans to go electric

Jaguar Land Rover said all of its new vehicles will be electric or hybrid starting by 2020.The British-based company, owned by India’s TAta Motors, said the electric Jaguar I-Pace will hit the road in 2018. the company describes it as “a five-seater sports car, performance car, family car and SUV.”

Jaguar also announced the electric E-Type Zero, which “future-proofs one of the world’s most famous cars.”

As part of its vision for 2040 and beyond, the company showed off the fully autonomous, but also driveable, Future-Type concept.
