J.D. Ney to head Canadian automotive business for J.D. Power

J.D. Ney has been appointed manager of J.D. Power’s Canadian automotive division.

Formerly the senior manager of J.D. Power’s Canadian Automotive Practice, Ney will now lead the design and delivery of syndicated, proprietary and consulting solutions for the company’s Canadian automotive clients.

According to the company, Ney is a recognized thought leader in automotive customer experience. He joined J.D. Power in 2011.

He takes over for Darren Slind, who has been promoted to lead J.D. Power’s Singapore operations

Slind, a 17-year veteran of J.D. Power, will spearhead the expansion of J.D. Power consulting services to a growing client base across Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan and Australia. He was previously senior director for Canada and Latin America.

Tim Braley has been appointed senior director, Canada and Latin America, taking over for Slind. Braley will be based in the Troy, Mich. Office.

Power. “These leadership changes will undoubtedly be effective, and I have great confidence that Darren, Tim and J.D. will quickly have a positive effect on the clients and companies they serve.”
