Gates releases hundreds of new parts

Gate Corporation announced it has expanded its original equipment quality automotive aftermarket product line. The manufacturer recently released 465 new part numbers covering a number of different categories.

One includes new retractable air hose reels in two variations. Citing customer feedback, the first is a multi-use and fully enclosed automatic reel in which the hose can be reeled out to a desired length and held there. It comes with a gradual return as opposed to an uncontrolled rewind if accidentally released. The second variation comes as a heavy-duty reel with a heavyweight dual supporting arm with galvanized and powder coated assembly for indoor or outdoor durability. Both reels will be available after May 15.

Gates has increased its coolant coverage thanks to 42 new part numbers. The company said its OE Performance Coolant Outlets have improved seals for leak-free performance.

Three new part numbers expand Gates’ line of heater hose assemblies for more than 7 millioon Chrysler applications. The assemblies are made with heavy-gauge steel tubing, strong welds, and high resistance against corrosion and rust, Gates said.

The company’s turbocharger hose line is expanding with seven new import parts and its first venture with Subaru with two parts. Gates says the hoses are typically only sold from OE dealers, making them hard to find.

And, finally, Gates added 74 new parts covering 5.5 million vehicles with its molded coolant hose line. Vehicles covered include European and Asian brands. The company added 38 new branched hoses that Gates said is typically available from the dealer only.
